With these exits, only two players, right-back Fagner and striker Romero, remain from the teams that won Brazilian titles in 2015 and 2017. The club had attempted to renew Cássio’s contract, but the terms did not align with his expectations, leading to his decision to leave.

Tonight’s match against Racing-URU isn’t just a farewell for Paulinho; it’s also crucial for Corinthians’ standings in Group F of the Copa Sudamericana, kicking off at 7 PM at the Neo Química Arena.

As Corinthians moves forward, the focus shifts to bringing in new talent and fostering emerging leaders, stepping away from past figures. The club has dismissed the idea of re-signing Romarinho, choosing instead to invest in the future.
