On Wednesday evening, during the Copa Libertadores match between Palmeiras and Independiente del Valle, young Brazilian striker Endrick was injured and had to leave the field on a stretcher. This news has caused great concern in Brazil, as the player is eagerly awaited for the next Copa América.
1 Endrick, who was recruited by Real Madrid for more than 45 million euros, collapsed on the pitch in the 60th minute of play, visibly injured in the right leg. Replaced by Raphael Veiga, he returned to the bench limping, an ice pack on his leg.
One month before the start of the Copa América, scheduled in the United States from June 20, this injury to Endrick is a hard blow for the Seleção. Coach Dorival Junior had in fact summoned him for this competition, where Brazil is aiming for a new title.

A hard blow for the Brazilian Selection
Before the Copa América, the Brazilian national team is also scheduled to play two friendlies against Mexico and the United States on June 8 and 12. The absence of Endrick would be a serious handicap for these preparation meetings.
Furthermore, this injury also concerns Real Madrid, who recruited the young Brazilian prodigy at just 16 years old. The Merengues will only be able to welcome him when he comes of age, on July 21. A prolonged absence of Endrick could therefore delay his debut with the Madrid club.

Considered one of the greatest prospects in Brazilian football, Endrick has already proven himself in the national team, scoring two goals in four appearances. His absence would be a hard blow for Brazil, which is aiming for a new coronation in the Copa América. Brazilian fans hope that the young player’s injury will not be too serious and that he will be able to quickly join the ranks of the Seleção.
