The buzz about his departure faded after Ten Hag made it clear post-Community Shield that Casemiro wasn’t going anywhere. Fabrizio Romano, the transfer insider, laid it out on his YouTube channel: Casemiro was up for grabs, talks were happening, but then the president of Al Ittihad stepped down and the whole deal fell apart.
