The 2024 Copa Libertadores group stage is nearing its end. A competition which began on April 3, will conclude on June 8, setting the stage for the knockout rounds.

This week marks the sixth round, which should have ended the group stage but for postponement of two key matches on Matchdays 4 and 5.
So far, 14 teams qualified for the round of 16. These are:
- Fluminense, Colo Colo (Group A)
- São Paulo, Talleres (Group B)
- The Strongest (Group C)
- Júnior, Botafogo (Group D)
- Bolívar, Flamengo ( Group E)
- Palmeiras (Group F)
- Athletico Mineiro, Peñarol ( Group G)
- River Plate, Nacional ( Group H)

While we await the round of 16 draws here a look at the potential matchups if the draws and matches went as :
- Atlético Mineiro vs Botafogo
- São Paulo vs Peñarol
- River Plate vs Talleres
- Nacional vs Colo-Colo
- The Strongest vs Junior
- Palmeiras vs Flamengo
- Fluminense vs Bolívar
- Huachipato or Grêmio vs Qualifiers from Group F
As the remaining teams vie for advancement, the tension builds.
