Oliva’s key move was substituting in Kaio Nunes, who scored twice, leading to a 2-1 victory for Brasiliense. Paulo Roberto had managed just three matches, with one win, one loss, and left midway through the third game.

Brasiliense stated, “During the halftime of the Real Brasília vs. Brasiliense match, coach Paulo Roberto Santos resigned after receiving criticism from the club president regarding the team’s earlier performance. The team improved significantly in the second half, winning 2-1 and taking the lead in their group.”

Brasiliense now leads Group E in the fourth division with six points. They will face Mixto-MT next Sunday at Elmo Serejo Farias Stadium, known as “Serejão.” The club has not yet announced a new coach to replace Paulo Roberto.
