Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento has publicly dismissed transfer speculation linking him to Inter Milan and other European clubs, affirming his commitment to his current team.

Despite Inter Milan’s known interest and their failed attempt to sign him last summer, Bento remains focused on his duties with Athletico Paranaense. “There is nothing concrete. I am 100% focused on Athletico Paranaense,” Bento stated, sidelining rumors of negotiations with other teams.

Bento’s prominence rose after his debut for the Brazilian national team in the recent March international break, where he played against England and Spain.

Reflecting on his international experience, Bento expressed his satisfaction and the unique opportunity it presented. “It’s very different from what I’m used to. I’m happy to have taken the opportunity and done well with the national team,” he told Globo Esporte.

He highlighted the personal significance of these matches, considering them memorable milestones in his career.

The goalkeeper also addressed the broader speculation about his future, mentioning links to clubs like Benfica, Chelsea, Wolverhampton, and Nottingham Forest. Yet, he emphasized his current focus lies entirely with Athletico Paranaense, underlining no concrete discussions with any other clubs.
