FC Barcelona and Manchester United are closely following the performances of Thalys, a young Brazilian striker of only 18 years old playing for Palmeiras. Described as the “new Endrick” in the country, the talented player has already caught the eye of European recruiters.

Under contract until 2026 with its training club, Thalys is considered a key element of Palmeiras’ sporting project. The Brazilian club therefore does not seem to be in a hurry to let him go, especially since they believe that the attacker is still in the learning phase.

However, sustained interest from Barcelona and Manchester United could change the situation. Both clubs are looking to strengthen themselves offensively and see Thalys as a player of the future who could bring something extra. During the last transfer window, Palmeiras had already rejected an Italian offer for its jewel.

We can expect European courtiers, in search of talent, to try their luck again this summer. It remains to be seen whether Palmeiras will agree to let go of its promising player or will retain control over its future.
