Atlético-MG didn’t waste any time dealing with the fallout from a racism incident at Tuesday’s Copa Libertadores match. The club identified a young fan who made racist gestures at San Lorenzo supporters during the game at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte.
The fan’s legal guardian, who was at the game too, got hit with serious consequences. They lost their membership in the Galo Na Veia program and can’t enter MRV Arena for six months.
