Neymar (79 goals)

As of 2024, Neymar holds the title of Brazil’s top scorer, having surpassed Pelé’s longstanding record. He achieved this milestone by scoring his 79th goal in a match against Bolivia.

Despite missing a penalty, Neymar was quick to score from the rebound and later added another goal during injury time, setting a new record with a total of 79 goals for the Brazil national team.

Pele (77 goals)

Pelé, the football legend, scored 77 goals in 92 matches for Brazil. He started with a goal against Argentina in 1957. After playing in three World Cups, he left a lasting mark, scoring nearly a goal per match.

Ronaldo Nazário (62 goals)

Ronaldo started his international career at 17. He was key in two World Cup wins, including a standout run in 2002. Overall, he scored 62 goals in 99 games. On his best days, he was unmatched.

Romario (55 goals)
