This clear decline now places Antony in eighth position only among the most bankable United players, tied with defender Diogo Dalot. He is clearly struggling to integrate into the collective set up by his former coach at Ajax Erik ten Hag.

More efficient since the start of the 2022-2023 financial year, other summer recruits like Lisandro Martinez (€43M), Christian Eriksen (€38.7M) or Casemiro (€25.8M) maintain a value close to or higher than their transfer compensation. Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford, both worth €60.1 million, take first place in the ranking of the most “bankable” Mancunians. It is now up to Antony to bounce back to regain sporting and financial credibility.
