Costa Rica
The debut of the team led by Dorival Junior will be on June 24 against Costa Rica. Already without Keylor Navas, who recently announced his retirement from international football, the Ticos had a series of matches that began with a goalless draw against an alternative Uruguay, made up solely of players from the local league, in San José.
They had less resistance winning the two matches that started the qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup. In Group B, they defeated Saint Kitts and Nevis 4-0, and then won 3-0 against Grenada.

Paraguay
Brazil’s second opponent will be Paraguay, in a match to be played on June 28. The two friendlies prior to the Copa América left a bittersweet taste for the team led by Daniel Garnero.
In the first match, they drew 0-0 against Peru in Lima, with good performances mainly from Miguel Almirón (Newcastle United) and Alex Arce (Liga de Quito). Five days later, they fell 3-0 to Chile in Santiago, a result that left the Albirroja worried.
Colombia
The Seleção will close the group stage on July 2 against Colombia, which with great decisiveness and offensive solidity beat the starters of the United States 5-1 at FedEx Field Stadium in Washington DC.
With James Rodríguez, Jhon Arias, Rafael Santos Borré, and Luis Díaz leading, the Colombian team will play its last match before the Copa América today. Their opponent will be Bolivia, in a clash that will take place in the city of Connecticut.
