In a conversation with Globo, Luís revealed that he shrugs off formal titles like “professor” or “Mister,” aiming instead to earn respect through performance.

His days are long, filled with late-night game analyses and early morning strategy sessions. A team of six analysts helps streamline these efforts, making the process more efficient.

Initially, Luís struggled with on-field positioning during training. With guidance from his coaching staff, he quickly adapted, enhancing his ability to observe and provide feedback.

He collaborates closely with his assistant, Ivan, a former coach at Barcelona. Together, they’ve developed a game model that the team has rapidly adopted, supported by targeted training and effective video analysis.
