The young Brazilian prodigy Endrick, recently recruited by Real Madrid, has decided to cut short his summer vacation in order to quickly establish himself within the Madrid squad.

Despite Brazil’s early elimination in the Copa América quarterfinals, the 17-year-old is not planning to fully enjoy his well-deserved rest.

On the contrary, he has chosen to advance his arrival at Real Madrid to convince Carlo Ancelotti to give him a chance right from the start.

Endrick, who was originally supposed to join the Spanish club on July 21, his 18th birthday, has decided to give up part of his holidays. He will fly to Madrid earlier than planned, on July 21, to train with his new teammates even before the start of Real’s American tour on July 28.

This strong decision shows the ambition of the young Brazilian, aware that he will have a hard time breaking into an already well-stocked Madrid attack.

Real Madrid has indeed placed a big bet on this 18-year-old sensation, signing him to a €60 million contract. The Merengue leaders see him as one of the future stars of the next decade and hope he can quickly make his mark in the first team.

Carlo Ancelotti, Real’s coach, is said to be “delighted” with Endrick’s rapid progress, who scored 17 goals in 36 matches with Palmeiras last season.
