Not in vain, according to the information published by GiveMeSport, who used the data from the Opta Power Ranking to compile a ranking of the 30 best leagues in the world today, the Brasileirão managed to comfortably enter the TOP-10.

Today at Sambafoot we focus on this topic.

According to the aforementioned sources, it is not surprising that the top 5 leagues in the world currently are the so-called “big leagues” of Europe. The Premier League, which includes various distinguished Brazilians such as Bruno Guimarães or Casemiro, among others, is the best league on the list with a total score of 87.59.

On the other hand, LaLiga EA Sports featuring Vinicius, Rodrygo, Endrick, or Raphinha takes second place in the ranking with a score of 84.8. The Serie A of Italy takes the bronze with 84.7 points and the Bundesliga of Germany (84.3) and Ligue 1 of France (83.6), complete the TOP-5.

It is quite surprising that the English Second Division, the Championship, ranks seventh in the ranking with a score of 76.38, as well as the presence of the Spanish Second Division, LaLiga Hypermotion (75.48), in ninth position.

However, the real surprise is the presence of the only non-European league in the TOP-10: the Brasileirão, the first division of Brazilian football. Comfortably entering this select group of the top 10 leagues in the world, this championship scored a total of 75.31, significantly outpacing the eleventh-placed Liga MX (75.16).
